What is the Triumph School Assembly?
The Triumph Assembly is a third to seventh-grade 60-90 minute assembly that uses soccer as a theme to introduce/reinforce EQ (emotional intelligence). Soccer EQ is one of 5 pillars of player formation and is crucial not only to soccer formation but the development of youth well into the teenage years.
We use soccer as a tool to teach self-worth, leadership, solution based thinking, teamwork, and more. Kids are active participants in the Triumph game that allows intrinsic learning and application of the content. They are the show and we are the facilitators. It's fun and impactful.
We bring all the required gear that includes two full-size soccer goals, balls, and everything else needed to play the triumph game.
Do they play soccer? No, the triumph game has a lot of characteristics of soccer without the contact and rigorous physical demand.
Is there a cost? No, our sponsors have generously given their time and resources to make this free of cost.
Who runs the assembly? Coach Al and Coach Joel are the facilitators and have over 25 years of combined coaching/teaching experience. They hold state, national, and international coaching licenses.
